Great fun for kids' birthdays...

Kids karaoke party disco DJ

With karaoke, limbo, their favourite music and a selection of party games (dependent on the kids’ ages), why not just leave it to us to give them a birthday to remember?

I have all their favourites (and the grown ups’ too!) for them to sing karaoke style, together with their favourite music to dance to.

They can read the words from the TV screen, which change colour to guide them singing.

I also feature dance competitions, and small sweets as prizes. (Don’t tell the kids, but I actually give everyone the sweets. No one likes to feel like they haven’t won something).

What ages do we cover?

For kids’ parties, I cover ages 8 to 13. (Younger than 8 really requires a dedicated children’s entertainer, as opposed to a DJ).

How long will the party be?

No matter how great the entertainment, at primary school age it is simply not possible to hold their attention for longer than a couple of hours. So I recommend you make the party two hours long – two and a half as the absolute maximum. From around age 11 upwards, a three hour party is possible.

How much will the party cost?

I will provide all the necessary sound equipment, disco lights, a TV and two microphones for the karaoke, the sweets and (not forgetting) myself. Providing the party ends by 8pm (4pm on Fridays and Saturdays), and depending on the venue’s location, the price starts at only £150.

I am happy to take bookings for children’s parties on Friday and Saturday evenings, but please understand that these are the most in demand nights of the week , and therefore prices on these nights will be significantly higher.

Additional stuff mums & dads need to know:

Although kids love smoke machines and bubble machines, unfortunately the vast majority of venues will not allow their use nowadays. Please check your venue’s rules on this before requesting these items, as no reduction will be made if the venue’s rules prevent us from using them. As part of my terms and conditions of booking, I require two responsible adults for up to twenty children, plus one more adult per additional twenty children, to be present at all times. Prevention of accidents is entirely the responsibility of the client and his / her appointed supervisors.
