How much do you charge?
This depends on hours, location and the size of your party. The only way to give you an accurate quote is to speak with you, so please call me on 0800 043 2702.
I'm not the cheapest, but I'm also not the most expensive. When you book a DJ to perform at your party, you have several choices. You ring around for prices, and get massively varying quotes. BE WARNED: THE LOWEST QUOTES WILL GET YOU THE LOWEST QUALITY!
Prime Time Discos is a long established, highly experienced entertainment service. The vast majority of our work comes from repeat bookings and recommendations from very satisfied customers. But a big chunk of our work comes from people who booked a cheap, amateur DJ for their last party, and now want it done right!
Never forget, the key to a successful party is ATMOSPHERE, and a great atmosphere can only be created by a professional entertainer. Believe it or not, hiring a professional rather than an amateur "beer money" DJ doesn't have to be expensive! Prime Time Discos' fees are very competitive, and include travel to your venue, top quality equipment and of course, your DJ with a full range of music. What music do you play?
We carry a massively comprehensive music collection, which contains just about every popular song from the last fifty years. We DON'T play "extreme" styles, like hard rock, techno or drum and bass. We play popular music that creates a great atmosphere (there's that word again - I make no apologies for using it at every opportunity, it's the most important element of your party!) for all ages.
Which areas do you cover?
Predominantly the south-east and east of England, but we quite often travel as far afield as Wales and the midlands.
Can I come and see you perform somewhere?
As we mainly perform at private celebrations, it would be very inappropriate to invite you along. You are of course welcome to come along to any public event (for example a pub night), but these are very rare.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It very much depends on the time of year. Many of our bookings are received over a year in advance, most a few months, some at short notice. Generally, the wedding season of April to September and the Christmas season will be unavailable unless you book at least six months ahead, but do call and check. This applies to weekend nights; midweek we are obviously less busy (and cheaper!)
